Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Pay Review - important dates

If you don’t get a pay rise by the end of this week you won’t see anything till June pay.

If you do get a raise this week and it’s entered into workday by end of next week you will see a change in May pay…

And if they drag this out till 2nd week of June, which is the most likely scenario, as the DXC deadline for appraisal reviews is end of May…you won’t see a raise in your pay till July. And yes the appraisals are linked to raises.

I am so glad I retired from this sh-t hole in 2023. Same sh-t complaining about no pay increases!

Quit your not a slave , go find another job that will pay at least your current salary and one that might give increases or shut the fu-k up

Some of my colleagues show up at 9am, switch off at 5pm. And don't seem to achieve anything in the interim. Who's the fool here. They get the same 0% as me.

so keep on progressing as stated before in other posts, no rise so reduce effort or duration by 5% (approx 2 hours/week). Starting with formation of DXC in 2017 that means 7 reductions in effort, so at least 14 hours/week less. So 2 days/week of no effort, meaning just bother turning up Tues - Thu each week, and 100% quiet quit Mon and Fri.

Another year another 0%. Another year we all say oh well let's do 5% less. Another year we all feel stupid having busted a gut to be the top employee on the team and even they only got 1.5%.

You clearly don’t read the posts on this forum.

The managers can do small raises for all or select raises first and even smaller raises for the rest.

If there is money in the pot, the people with a higher rating WILL get more. It’s in this year’s management briefing but it’s written in a way that makes it ambiguous.

"During the third quarter of fiscal year 2024, the Company repurchased 11 million shares of common stock for a total of $252 million."

What a waste they could buy the shares now for $190 million. Losing $60 million in a quarter which could have gone to pay.

Current price $19 per share

They just don't know how to run a business.
