Layoffs gotten bad enough in my area that we've begun to lose all institutional knowledge on some projects. I had one where it took four months to figure out who owned a process now because the department that owned it last year was eliminated and they didn't bother to transition the work anywhere. It feels like this company is held together with Elmer's glue.
