When a company is in trouble or crisis, how long does it normally get rid of the CEO?

The seeds of our wonderful company’s fiasco were planted by Paul O and “nurtured” by the many others before Pat. Having said that — the insular arrogance and wonton waste of money wrapped in excuses is a culture thing that Pat has not been willing or able to squash.
But the focus is on Factory+IP and honestly no one really cares about Intel brand label on a CPU vs anyone else’s label.
