Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

What’s the policy regarding severance ?

So I didn’t fully understand or rather was too furious to pay attention to the Severence policy on IRIS in regards to FOW compliance . I won’t have have access to my machine for a week so can someone please tell me what that is about ?
My life situation will make it very difficult to be in office Tuesday and Wednesday 8 hours. I am under 50 miles and hired as Full time work from office employee before COVID.
Who is exactly eligible ?

@htn+1sgKWi7Q Life happened buddy. And so 8 hours exclusively in office is not practical for me anymore . Wait till you have kids / aging parents / your health issues and then we will talk .

My understanding is “Office people” need to be in compliance with the mandate to possibly get a severance. Failure to comply means no severance when layoffs come.

Those living more than 50 miles seem to be able to request a severance.

I don't quite understand this Post as you were in the office before covid. You accepted the position knowing you were supposed to be in the office, correct? I would understand if you were hired work at home, as some of the folks being asked to go back to the office that have been working at home for over a decade. Not folks that were originally hired for office.
