Thread regarding USAA layoffs

All these C-suites are getting RICHER and RICHER with all the layoffs

It’s a damn shame that they have no problem collecting their paychecks and bonuses at the expense of lower level employees.

Lol... who do you think Wayne's year over year salary increases benefit? Who do you think benefits the MOST from eliminating the retirement+ benefit and changing the 8% match at 100% to a 4% match at 200%? Who do you think can afford to say oh well to Cigna's garbage insurance?

USAA had all these changes planned pre-pandemic, they even mentioned it at one point, surprisingly. The stance is simple, "We have over-invested in our employees".

You are highly uneducated in why layoffs are happening and where the money goes. It's unfortunate we are living in a time where this is happening. Be sure to vote to get policies in place to better our American economy so companies won't have to keep reacting with layoffs, price hikes, etc.
