We are calling for the resignation of Intel CEO effective immediate. He has failed every employee and every stockholder. Spending like a drunken sailor, no line of sight for any growth, revenue in a tail spin, market cap exactly half that of AMD’s and a terrible terrible negative morale sweeping the company. This titanic is listing and slowly going under. Sadly :/ all thanks to Pat.

Please fire Pat.
@3hty - Intel board can authorize an acqui-hire of someone like a Jensen Huang, Lisa Su or CC Wei. I am sure they will jump at the chance of immortality in turning around a legend of US industry.
who would you replace pat with?
show me someone better.
@2twi Anywhere but here.
Go where?
Pat is fooled by people under him. In particular, he is fooled by Ann from TD, Ann is fooled by people under her, this fooling ripples down. Every hop of decision making, is a single point of failure.
Do what Jack Welsh did. Fire the bottom 10% of performers.
Incompetent, or nonsense, managers everywhere 2 levels from Pat.
This pretty much sums up why Intel is finished....

@ffy Meg Whitman: split NOW
Who do you plan to hire instead, and how will they fix Intel?

In June 2021, Gelsinger named 22-year Intel vet Sandra Rivera to head up a new Datacenter and AI Group. Rivera, who spent two years as Intel’s chief people officer before taking on her new role, describes what Intel staffers are looking to get out of their relationship with the company, using terms that would have been unlikely to come up in its original heyday. “For sure, we are in an age now where our employees are looking for a deeper, richer connection to the purpose of the organization,” she says. “They care about diversity, equity, inclusion. They care about the planet.”
No, we don’t give a sh&t about DEI or saving the planet.
