Can anyone tell me at what week severance pay is calculated? Is it the last few weeks of “employment” after a lay off? Or after the official final day of work?

From what I read it is termination date. For those impacted this round it is May 2nd. And for a year to count it has to be a full year - not 11 months and 3 weeks
