Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Corrupt Company

I just know the fall of CVS will become a Netflix documentary and I will be the first to sing like a canary about the bullsh-t and corruption within this company. This is the company you are working for, they deceive you into thinking that your work is meaningful and beneficial to our members. I encourage you all to dig deeper and find out who you are working for. They have been found guilty of all 511 lawsuits listed, some crimes worse than others… make no mistake you are not doing good meaningful work with this company. Don’t drink the koolaid. Link to lawsuit settlements: https://violationtracker.goodjobsfirst.org/parent/cvs-health

And there are several current lawsuits at this time that are not on this list.

Literally living in poverty due to this company. Three years in and we have no jobs. We also have run out of food. I hope they rot. There’s no unemployment or financial support. They deserve to pay.

Me too! I finally called it quits to take a stand against all the bs from CVS, worked on the Aetna side of things. I’m so much happier and was blessed enough to double my income within 2 months of leaving. Sometimes you just gotta jump and take the leap.

Spot on, @OP+1sdgBYCH!

A lot of questionable things going on in CVS. I am so glad not to be in that toxic environment anymore. It is not worth the stress and negative impact on health and quality of life. It is a terrible company, before and after the Aetna acquisition.

They paid literally hundreds of millions of dollars just to get their name off of one of the Opi--d lawsuits. Yet last year they had to stoop to laying off 5,000 people and destroying their lives. But don’t forget the Chief people officer lady (whatever her name is, the one who looks like a dead owl) said that the reduction in the reduction in healthcare benefits, increases in premiums, and teeny raises are all somehow “industry standard”. What industry is she comparisons to?! Because that’s just a flat out lie. Laughable. This corporation is absolutely failing and I’m excited for it.

I’m sure there are worse companies but you don’t work for them. Yet choose to stay with this one. There are also a lot of good companies. Why waste your talent, knowledge, and life making Karen Ly--h wealthy so she can buy her dream yacht, stealing off the backs of hard working Americans while you live pay check to pay check?

And let’s not forget the recent lawsuit because CVS was selling placebo’s masked as cold medicine, knowing full well they were placebos and wouldn’t do a damn thing for the people needing relief.

CVs isn’t the only one. There more companies that can be worst than CVS.

Yes and keep getting away with it. There is currently a class action lawsuit with CVS and Utilization Management Nurses regarding overtime pay. Final judge review in July.
