Another restructuring? Again? From a 99% white board-run company with the "best" DEI initiatives? Laughable!
America's Great Place To Work (GPTW)? How can a company with RTO Mandates, below industry pay, no free food and soda, claim to be better than the rest? I guess I can slap the GPTW badge on my little self-employed startup. Sounds like another self-aggrandizing, c*ck st-----g PR campaign to attract the cheapest and gullible workers from the entire country.
Some of these marketing boomers and HR guys need to take their retirement checks and move onto the sunset. Seriously, make up your minds XD
silent lay off in the name of restructuring, it’s going on
Why are you surprised? I thought the mass sacking of FXIP, global headcount hiring freeze, s**t pay and the slow promotional opportunities from all the 10+ year tenured, B35+s clogging the corporate ladder climb should've been enough to keep Amex alive and well away from another round of layoffs for another 5 years. Turns out the stock price isn't high enough, and never is from a company that serves the rich and sc--ws the poor workers.
Sadly, some people in my old team should've taken their retirement/redundancy packages years back instead of wasting company time, talent and resources. Glad I left and pi---d off to a better company.
How would people be able to join if there's layoffs?
How many people and what departments?
