Expected more from a company like XOM. Everyone I have spoken to, myself included, feels like they are in the dark. Transferring laptops and cell phones and health plans, etc with very little coordination of communication. This transition is getting tiring. Just let the hammer drop already.

XOM isn’t disorganized. They just don’t care about Dinglebury staffers. It’s a business and their perogative.
There was no plan to keep us denbury people. Already interviewing for another job!
Every XOM person I have dealt with = Chip on shoulder and incompetent
No one to help either. I’m so frustrated. And I am sick of seeing people so “happy” to work for XOM. You are pathetic. This company s$$ks.
This has been the most soul su-king week. Exxon has been utterly disorganized, either because they are incompetent or they are trying to make it so bad we quit on our own. Even after signing up for benefits you get no useful information. They say it will be a few business days before you get your policy number… after Tuesday when they get around to sending it to the provider. I expected better. Joke’s on me!
All going like I thought it would. The folks you’re dealing with are a range of defeated hanging on or folks like CX. Keep everything close to the vest and keep your eyes open.
Someone wasn't paying attention in the endless meetings we've had about it: insurance will be back-dated to May 1st after you have made your selection so you do still have coverage now
I hope nobody needed to use health insurance today.
Sounds like we have a lot to look forward to…
Except for those of us who left with an effective date of April 30 or before. Or those still on the Denbury payroll (who will be severed before year-end).
It’s May 1. Denbury medical insurance is terminated as of April 30.
Wish it was my last day, and I was getting a fat check to walk away from these clowns.
Change of control ends Nov 2025. After that they can and will layoff everyone.
morale in the field is dead, atleast our area
The change of control has done nothing to help employees. All it has done is scared xom into keeping our org whole as puppets and placeholders. I agree the transition has been handled very poorly, starting back in the dead period pre-Nov 2nd with radio silence. They’ve given a half assed effort to put lipstick on it with Q&A docs and random trainings that still have not answered many people’s main question: where will we be in 1 year, two years, etc.?
per the change of control, they legally cannot do that.
This transition is making me miss legacy Denbury more and more. Not impressed with how EM has handled this. I’m anticipating that they drag us along for two years and then show us the door, not sure why they didn’t offer voluntary severance to speed up the process.
Will they mess up the first payroll checks, too? Glad I’m not around anymore to find out!
Good luck next week denbury. The chaos isn’t by design. It’s by lack of accountability. A lot of people will say don’t take it personal it’s business. I disagree. Take it personal! Fight to better yourself within this organization or better yourself outside of it.
nothing will change next week we still wont know anything
Next week you will get all the attention you want.
Kind of get the feeling the chaos is by design.
I still get the feeling most of us won’t be here long-term.
Unfortunately you haven’t even started what this will all look like.
