Checking in to see if management was able to find jobs for any of the “redeployed” or if anyone has been successful in posting out for another position in the company.

EVEN IF you are <2yrs from retirement....who needs it? They can kiss the fattest part of my a$$! Get out while you can do it on YOUR terms.
Why would anyone want to continue working for a company that said they didnt need you. Take your skills and help someone who values you. This is a dumpster fire. Unless you are <2yrs from retirement why would you choose to stay.
I did get re-deployed but I admit I had someone looking out for me and the cost to train someone new was not worth the lost time.
Redeployment has a lot of conflicting information comparing to RIF documentation. I think redeployment is really rare and only if you are reaaaaaallly liked.

Even applying for the same exact position I’m currently in I’m getting rejections and not even being given the opportunity to interview for the position. I thought it was just me but many of my fellow teammates that were in “redeployment” are experiencing the same thing.
I was simply asking if management had found jobs for anyone because we were told to apply for jobs and simultaneously management would be working with HR to try to place us in other positions if they were a good fit.
I was just checking to see if anyone had been successful in finding a new position.
Redeployment is not a management function. There are managers that are miracle workers and help their employees find other employment, but they are rare. Redeployment ensures the hiring managers must look at you first. It is your initiative to apply for everything and stay positive. It can be done I am proof but you have to keep the right perspective and make it a full time job to search out all opportunities. No one else will be doing that for you.
