...eventually...Bellevue will be downsized to a regional RBO like AT&T did with Redmond and official HQ will be Kansas. Not like tomorrow...but soon...very soon.

Very much doubt this rumor! OP employees are not valued and nor is our Midwest Values. We would welcome any change in management that can operate in a cost reduction model for business and system processes that need to be refined.
Praise Be! I hopes we makes it to Kansas in time fer grits and possum pie Christmas supper.
Not surprised
move to OP is delayed as the site is not ready for mass move-ins. Most likely work won't be done until December so Spring of 2025 is the most likely move date. IMO.
Isn't that the plan bcs the EVP of HR wants it that way? So she can stay in OP with her blonde entourage. She seems to hold all the cards these days.
They won't stop in Kansas on their way to Bangalore.
Moderator, please remove this thread. Headquarters is not being moved from Bellevue WA to Overland Park KS.
Factoria is dreadful. Seattle is super dreadful and pretentious- in a special self righteous way only the tech goober crowd could exude- like Eric K. I hate traveling to PNW from OP. They should relocate the mobility engineers group from building 3 to Banglor. Better fit and cost basis.
Bellevue su-ks. Seattle su-ks. Factoria really su-ks. As someone in building 3 I would like to leave the cr-ppy weather. Not sure OP is where I want to end up but if I could get out of PNW and remain at Magenta, I would.
This is good idea. Kansas is central place to all American the people live
Bellevue is not good place for T-Mobile. it is good to have that vision.
Ok, so the current Frisco office space might be land locked, but the Dallas metro area is a threat. Cheaper and a growing, vibrant community.
Frisco is not a threat. Over the past 10 years they have turned all the farmland around into either subdivisions or office parks up to the Oklahoma state line. There's not room and traffic is already horrible.
Honestly laughing at this. As someone in Kansas, very few here feel valued. We are all working hard, trying to do what is best for the company. But very few here feel there is any professional opportunity at TMO living in KS. Is the cost less to operate in Kansas? Absolutely. It has always been that way. Yet companies aren’t moving here. The opposite is happening. I don’t think Seattle has any thing to worry about. If they did, my guess is Frisco a much bigger threat.
That's been the plan. Why? Because the cost to operate a business in the Seattle area is 25% higher than in Kansas.
