Do you feel like you are in Circus?

Hi ,

I feel like after re-org actually the least professional people managed to benefit from the changes and now we are all in a circus with clown management showing their seniors they are making something of a value.

I really hoped this reorg would bring about positive changes but it only got worse.

Time to leave?

Yes, I've felt like a clown ever since I started. A very high paid clown who might fall off at the next act.

Either the board knows its a numbers game, reshuffle of MD’s and don’t care or they are completely oblivious.

Get rid of 300 MD’s only to get 310 more as a replacement?!?! How can you call this “removing layers” and not realize its a numbers game.

While I’ve seen low morale before, I’ve never seen such a complete loss of respect for the upper echelon as I have now. I hear from new hires all the way up to 2 levels above me voicing publicly how little respect and faith they have in those in the ivory towers. This is a first time for me on seeing\hearing this to this level. Yikes.

And they do re-org for just name purposes. They gave us new manager just for organization structure wise but old manager will still monitor what we do . How they he-l can an employee keep doing jobs under two managers , first place why to have a new manager if they do not have power . Old managers are giving tough time with their egos . Such a mess .

O&T head just congratulated new MDs. why the h$ll is citi appointing new MDs in the midst of layoffs. we already have too many MDs. half of citi seems to be useless MDs.

Do yourself a favor and look for another job! This re-org is going to be a hot mess walking for several months, with adjustments coming. Get out while you can still find a new job!

People who really did the work are let go. I am sorry for them. But they might find good job else where. Its really a clown management.

yeah it’s a clown show. the whole organization has corruption. The management should not have been asked for input at all. Citi is too corrupt to trust any manager on what is best. If they could have been trusted, the organization would’ve already been in a better state.

So far I'm not liking the changes, what's the point of eliminating layers of management if their going to shadow keep existing? And worst part is that the elimination should have happened at the middle layers, not at the layers that work directly with the people that are actually doing the work.
