the employees do not need to accept lower pay. they can leave anytime they want if they believe their pay is not what it should be and sell their services to someone else willing to pay for it. its a free country. don't be a victim. whining will do nothing.
Intel don’t pay more and use layoff tactic as a threat so employees have to accept low pay

Agree.
The entitlement is outrageous.
You are paid what you’re worth. By definition.
Want more? Go get it.
i'm puzzled how being paid less is a theat. just leave if you don't like your pay. there is no threat. its very easy. you work, intel pays. if you don't like what they pay just go somewhere else. i'm puzzled by the victim mentality that a lot of intel employees exhibit.
I already left a few years ago but my co workers are still being threaten every single month.
You can always leave. Intel doesn't owe you anything.
Aside from posting here people will do nothing. Use Amazon prime for some K-Y jelly.
If your pay is cut, file for unemployment. Some states pay unemployment to workers who have a pay cut or hours cut. You don't have to be unemployed. If the workers did that then the company would be paying out anyway for unemployment benefits. I know Calif pays unemployment for pay reduction.
Get a job at Cyrix. They make a great 5x86 CPU!!!
Don’t think there will be and more “share the pain” pay cuts. Those were a luxury.
They will just reduce headcount greatly.
Please don’t say they can’t reduce headcount… they already did in some areas by up to 30% and saw efficiencies.
It's not a threat, it's their plan.
leave. its a free country. is this how you want to spend your career? working for a shrinking company?
Become a Walmart greeter.
Call their bluff and GTFO.
