In meetings and internal communique’s you are asked to ignore all social media posts as lame and misleading.
After watching this board for a while now, I think its not a matter of misleading but rather there’s a concern that this site may insight questions from the employees. Out of all of the complaining, guessing, forecasting and warnings….I’d say that the posts are about 75% true.
You’ll get a heads up on who’s leaving, what’s merging, what’s being trimmed, etc….and for the most part it happens. I’m positive HR and Citi legal are tasked with combing through these posts everyday.
