Thread regarding Anthem Inc. layoffs

Toxic environment

So we have a terrible manager & team lead. We voiced it on our employee satisfaction survey. A complaint was sent to ethics & HR. Nothing was done. Nobody asked us anything and nothing changed. This company is corrupt & doesn’t care about its employees at all. One person even went above the manager to her boss & that went nowhere as well. Her boss sent her an email & told her all about it. Managers can abuse staff, not have any policies on metrics or PTO etc and none of it matters. I honestly think this is the worst environment I’ve ever been in & yes I’m trying to leave actively. I have been for months but the job market is highly competitive right now especially if you want work from home. I have heard other departments here run like a well oiled machine but that’s not my experience.

Never go to HR, Ethics, first golden rule. You will not benefit at all. It will black list you. It may not be right away to not look obvious, but that's in your records so any promotions, raises bonuses, you will most likely fair poorly. It's what they want . they win.. you lose. All you can do is stay true to yourselves and those around you. Golden rule two Care for your families and loved ones.. this is a job I know it's our liveliness, financial stability, but at the end of the day, your done (except if your in IT :)) live your lives ..
