Drain Station will continue to su-k capital from Ford. Heard the top 3 floors aren't even built out. WTH? A billion dollars and three floors aren't complete?!??

The train station concert's finale, filled with trash and vulgarity, way to go Ford. The debacle continues. So sad. Stock holder's money squandered on garbage.

Bill Ford committed to 5,000 employees paying 1.2% to 2.4% city income tax, by 2022. He is two years overdue in delivering.

The train station was a boondoggle from the beginning. Spending a billion dollars to renovate a dilapidated building in an economic dead zone of an economically dead city. If they really want people to work downtown they could've waited a couple more years and got the Ren Cen for a song after GM vacates the property.

Ford don't care. Gretchen and Duggan will be happy. As will glass replacement companies.

@wll+1sSSOZxP they probably disallow street parking because it will be bad press due to vehicle windows getting popped all the time. you voluntarily street park in detroit, it's on you. you street park because you are forced to work on site and you don't want to? it's going be all over social media.

It’s Model E Guy! How’s it going? With RTO you don’t seem to post as much.

10 - 15 minute walk. Through Detroit. Outside of heavily patrolled areas.

Is Ford providing security? Or allowing concealed carry?

jny+1sSSOZxP I beg to differ with you regarding DF. He is not the messiah like a Alan Mullaly or a Bob Lutz. For one his career is one of hopping jobs every three years. I think his longest stint was five years.
Sorry I along with other people do not have confidence in this guy.
As for the train station. explain to us what is it? What is it purpose? Since the purchase we have heard four different proposals. To me it sounds like a money pit. All that property in Dearborn and you update a building in an area that make GAZA look like Beverly Hills. No thanks Glad I took the Lump Sum.

I was getting a ton of ads in streaming platforms for the event (I'm not in MI). Talk about poor use of marketing money.

Makes sense based on what’s been going on in that area of Dearborn. Regent Court is gone, all that’s left is WHQ, FMCC, some data center, and the lease garage. All of these could have a plan to be shut down…

I'd love to work from the train station. But paying more for income taxes via Detroit's City tax does not entice me.

Paid for at the expense of thousands of job cuts.

I haven't heard a peep about this, but I would love to work downtown! It would be so nice compared to WHQ.

The Drain Station show, paid for by shareholders and employees’ bonuses, will be a parking nightmare. All the streets are closed, including Michigan Avenue, to parking. They are telling people to park a 15 minute walk away…

Good luck to you 5,000 employees committed to working there by taking hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to help fund the renovation of an office building, that was never successful as an office building. 15 minutes in snow and rain isn’t fun walking.

No. Bill said it in his interview. 2500-3000 Ford employees will be based in the Train Station. I've also heard it will be Model e for sure.
