Now people from Okta will run F5. Hope they are smart enough to eliminate the corrupt leadership

I would argue that Acopia was only successful as an acquihire. The product never sold well but they had a strong engineering team that aligned well with BIG-IP development.

I would argue that Trafficshield (ASM) was the most successful acquisition as it was the second (only other?) product to end up in the upper right Gartner quadrant due to RT’s (VP who wasn’t part of the original acquisition) drive and focus.

Since F5 is now in AI (all development in India), it is self-driven. Therefore, ....

Volterra quality is bad and the org still operate like a startup. Even if they onboard new customers, the quality issues are going to keep people from re-upping, especially into a higher priced plan.

Voltera has customers but most of them are HEAVILY discounted. FLD has said several times in company meetings that converting them to paying full price is going to be the hard part.

I am not vp. Not even from that group. Maybe I am wrong. But fld gives it highest priority for sure. He even visited some place in Europe called voltera.

I have to agree with the previous post about Voltera. Having worked with their dev groups directly and indirectly, they are a bunch of washed up, co--y has-beens that were all grossly overpaid during and after the merger. The Voltera white knight in this thread must be their VP…

Honestly, I don't understand why you are so negative about Voltera. They already have real customers that pay. Also the strongest engineering power is gathered there.

Nobody... The company is drifting, and it is only a matter of time before it ridiculously easily hits the rock.

Volterra? Are you being serious? Acopia was and will be the only successful acquisition from f5 within the past twenty years and it was all because John McAdam was still at the helm. A true leader

Blue was a big hope also.

Why BigIP only? Voltera is a big hope.

The board of directors. Keeping the stock price pumped up is the only thing that matters. The company is successful only because of BIG-IP. All the other investments are failures. FLD is a mouth piece as are the McKinsey monkeys. The engine and rudder is BIG-IP.
