Gurminder Bedi does not have the full package of skills required to run a successful Ford. Kumar is a joke, already in WAY over his head. Lawler while not a great choice would be a pick similar to Red Poling…short in personality but focused on costs ( the right ones vs today)

It turns out Red Poling's mom had some frozen embroyos stored, so there is a much younger brother who has the same CEO lineage as Red.

I haven't worked in his org, but I think Khumar would be a better option vs Lawler.

Bill wants a minority or a woman or both for the next figurehead. It's hard to say DEI is a core principle when all you've ever had is old white guys as CEO.
It would be hilarious if we got the Boeing CEO, I wouldn't put it past the Ford family to do that, lol.

You should hope that Ford Board of Directors name Dave Calhoun Boeing ‘s CEO as Ford’s new CEO. Dave’s going to be out of a job at year’s end. He will put Ford in a bottomless hole like he did with Boeing. Dave’s walking away with 32 million his last day at Boeing.
Bedi did a great leadership job with the bed liner design used for the Vehicle Personalization bed liners released by FCSD.
