Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Leave. You can do it

Today I left my job and currently don’t have a backup plan. I’m lucky enough to have the means to take a month off but I’ll have so much less stress and I’ll have time to devote to finding my next chapter. Left toxic management and truly was just treated like a cog with no feelings. If you are unhappy, do something about it!

I left back in January. Best decision I’ve ever made. My friends still working there said everything has gone down hill since.

Glad to hear you were in a place to bounce out. I’m trying really hard to get to my next bonus, and then I’m out of here. Swear to god if I get let go before my toxic, lazy manager who has complaints filed against them — I guess it would just be par for the course around here.

I've considered doing the same thing. I have enough savings to last at least a year.

However, I'm a 55 year old white dude who probably will not be able to find a professional job again. Would probably have to work retail or sell cars.
