I know of someone on paternity leave that was impacted. I was curious how that works too if he would be paid out the remainder of the leave or how that worked
I didn’t read the clause about not bad mouthing, when you lay off 600 people via email you will not be viewed in a good light. They are clearly falling apart and fast, clients don’t want this drama and instability.

Yes. You are benefiting from it right now by posting anonymously. They meant more along the lines 'don't go on your LinkedIn/Instagram/TikTok' and talk sh-t about the company.
Many people have to do this when they go to college. Standard practice. Not sure what's the news here.

4 weeks which is awful. I got much more laid off years ago.
They only followed warn act for Irvine employees but got around the loop holes in other areas.
Very impersonal for sure and when you think of how you were caring employee it seems pretty cold.
Anyone left to transition gets a month bonus for agreeing to stick around and train your replacement along with mid year bonus and RSU through whatever date you are given. Same severance as everyone else with 2 weeks per year, rounded to half years. I am about to be on maternity leave and was told that would be honored for the full duration. That was actually not true, they will not honor parental leave beyond whatever date they’ve decided
CA employees based in Irvine or CA remote employees that report to a manager based in Irvine qualify for the additional 2 months pay.
2 weeks per year of service, health insurance until the end of June, and you get the June 1st RSUs. They also make you sign a non disparagement clause, so you're not allowed to bad mouth the company on social media. California people get two months of severance because they never filed a WARN Act.
