Nuke it from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.

If things are still like they were when I left, just change Intel's name to Kwik-E-Mart and see if 7-11 will buy it. 7-11 sells Doritos and Lays and other chips similar to Intel's.

Infosys could buy it and complete the outsourcing transition.

Someone should buy it and turn it into a centre of excellence for diversity, inclusion and general wokery.

I went to last weekend garage sale and saw an Intel inside stick computer for free with a monitor labeled “broken”. Nobody seems to be interested to pick them up.

It needs to be split into 4-6 companies.

Nobody wants to buy a troubled company and stock price keeps in free fall. Only wait until it declares bankruptcy and stop making inferior products.

Biden won’t allow it under monopolistic grounds.

it is too big and too cr-ppy
they would have to break it up and "sell it for parts"

Intel could have bought AMD, NVIDIA or TSMC five years ago and Intel employees are super rich now. Intel he-l laid off many good talents and employees so it is time to pay for its price. Sadly, any of these companies can buy Intel in the next five months as debts are building up with not competitive products and always behind.

Intel is always for sale since it’s publicly traded and anyone can go do a hostile takeover.

Given how low it is and no offers, I can conclude that no one wants it.

The factories could be converted into data centers that can be filled up with nvidia based servers to support the increasing AI demand. A lot of power and cooling is already available at the sites.

A used equipment liquidation is more appropriate.

If this even remotely true, that probably means BoD has pushed PG out, cuz if PG is still in charge, his ego wouldn't allow it.

Interestingly if AMD could buy its assets and stocks for $100B to rise up its value in order to compete with NVIDIA for future AI factories.

A sale would probably take a ~30% premium to the current share price to win shareholder approval, putting the price tag at ~$170B. You really think someone will want to pay that much for this p.o.s.?

Seriously, who would want it. If someone did buy it the outcome would be really bad for current employees. It would take a complete restructuring to make it viable or it would be broken up and sold off. Either way it would be bad news.
