Yay to getting a prorated Q1 Bonus, but have they announced the dates for 401k match and profit sharing? In years past, it’s always been end of May/start of June.

CDW has long had a reputation of not comping well, but even still, many of us who joined through acquisitions were horrified at the poor benefits package. I mean, you’d think they could at least give us the day after Thanksgiving off given how cr-ppy the other benefits are. And the 401k match is just pitiful.

The match is so low. McDonald’s is dollar for dollar up to 6%. Same with many other low skill jobs/ employers. And you don’t have to wait all year to see if you will get it. Shameful, really.

You mean profit sharing. 401k match for 2023 was previously defined before employee contributions were made, as the law requires.
CDW announced the 2023 401(k) match amount today in an email from the CEO.

It doesn’t impact results on the P&L because it’s already accrued as an expense last year. The only impact is to cash.
Could they be waiting until after the 2nd Qtr so the payouts don’t hurt 2nd Qtr results?

No information yet and the fact that this is a mystery is ridiculous. No other company the size of CDW make their employees guess if and when a company match will be applied.

I sure hope so. I was laid off in January and was pleasantly surprised by the Q1 Bonus check, I could use the extra money right now. The job market is brutal - you’re competing against remote overseas workers and AI.
I looked at my Fidelity account and it was the first pay day in June last year. Fingers crossed for everyone that we get it this week!
