With the news of the closure of Optum Virtual Care, and Landmark effected recently, how has the HouseCalls department fared? Any layoffs? Are there any plans for this department in terms of headcounts or office closures. Any insight on HouseCalls would be much appreciated, thank you.

The VP of Performance Enablement left on 6/3 to "pursue new professional opportunities". Teams are shifting, yet again. When this happens, we start seeing layoffs...from my experience, anyway.
More layoffs, including HouseCalls, coming in late Summer and Fall. Confirmed by upper mgmt.
What are you talking about? NH HHCC don't go into homes or provide patient care, they do utilization management. Are you saying in 2025 Ootum plans on shutting down the whole NH UM program?
Business is quietly moving from Housecalls to Landmark, to be phased out. Expected sunset in 2025.
Landmark will still be performing in home services, with NPs and pushing forward with a smaller geographic footprint. Prospero had a decent telehealth program and Landmark will implement- cheaper that way.
Expect any role that can be automated or that is non/patient facing to be eliminated first, along with supervisors, managers, and non/essential directors. More large cuts coming across Optum, anything weird; highly probable it’s you or your team/department in July.
Landmark did have a RIF but they are definitely still going into homes and doing medical care. Just relying heavily on NPs for it all now (which is how Prospero operated). They do have a telehealth program in tech still developing and used by Landmark 1st I believe. Have not heard LM in home medical care will be going away?
I’m sure nH HHCCs have yet to be informed of this
Is phasing out nh home health confirmed? Where did you hear this?
Housecalls appears strong for the time being and will be heavily utilized during 2024 25 while phasing out navihealth home health.
