According to MetLife, Podlogar ultimately informed Lippert that Moazzaz's role could be reevaluated for an increase to Grade 19 in the future. (Defs.' SOF ¶ 26.) Moazzaz alleges that Podlogar told Lippert that Moazzaz was not promoted because she was “too mean” and because she was “condescending and shouts.” Moazzaz further contends that Podlogar told Lippert that if Mozzaz “is nicer” that Podlogar would reconsider the promotion decision after twelve months. (Pl.'s SOF Opp. ¶ 26.)

@nsp+1sDE3mKr she went to and just graduated from law school...public information.
If there was a trial that was about Mona not being a nice person, it would be an incredibly quick trial, and she definitely wouldn't like the outcome. Sometimes "bi--h" isn't gender specific, but it clearly explains a personality. Male or female I'm sure it was used appropriately in her case. The entire GTO space is full of bi--hes, both male and female. Not many nice people to be found, especially in leadership roles.
Anyone happen to catch the 'farewell' broadcast? OMG. That voice. Ugh. I had to turn off the volume after 10 seconds. Dang. Her voice is worse than Sandy Cortez's
When does the trial start?
On the contrary, MetLife is about as woke as you get for the East coast.
MetLife is an old boys club. They bring Instagram models on the private plane trips to France.
MetLife published its old boys club logic in the record in the racism case. Instead of overqualified loyal black man Met chose the not qualified white man bc they liked this white guy—-with this they are doing a smear the woman campaign.
What is the MetLife fantasyland where “not nice” bosses are investigated due to complaints by employees?
Would Podlogar have told any man “be nicer”?
Why is MetLife paying so many men so much more money than women?
Why do they settle all of their other s-xism and equal pay cases but litigate this one?
Kandarian fought the law (Federal Government on SIFI) and Kandarian won.
Despite the name calling mentioned in the brief, I'd put my money on MetLife to win this because Mona won't be able to prove unequal pay for unequal work.
Also, because the case has ramifications for MetLife's reputation, MetLife will fight it tooth and nail.
There's even a possibility that they could agree to settle and offer Mona the Chief HR Officer position. Now, wouldn't that be ironic?
Queue Elton John: The b# is back.
Flip hair. Smile. Botox. Fillers. Smile. Blonde hair. Smile.
There is definitely crazy stuff in the case brief.
But, if Mona is so great, I'd expect her to have risen to the top of another company in the past five years. Did she?
The market should solve these problems. If females are underpaid, then it's a great deal to hire them, right? So smart company owners/managers should hire them. The male wage rate would drop and the female wage rate would rise.
Is this happening? Are there no smart company owners/managers? Does economics not work?
You might say, yeah, but the club has it in for them. Well, it would only take one company to break the mold and increase its profitability by reducing its labor costs for the same output.
Would you hire Mona?
Hope she wins. It's a club and you ain't in it.
And why does HR get to decide who gets promoted, anyway?
Isn't that the realm of her direct management chain?
Ladies, at MetLife, you need to be nicer! Smile, flip your hair, be a mommy!, crush the rank and file, but be nice, flip your hair, smile, if they pay you less than the men, smile, be nice, flip your hair
