I’m so over working for this dumpster of a company. We have the worst leaders and regardless of who is in that seat they worst than the previous. Nick has been around since the beginning and has ran this place into the ground and led to this toxic environment where everyone is looking over their shoulder, bad mouthing their coworkers, and trying to fly under the radar so you won’t get spotted. It just su-ks that this town doesn’t have a large opportunity to earn what we have been making. Guess I’ll be relocating for another job.

Probable conversation “I got an idea!! Since we keep buying and selling assets at the worst possible time…why don’t we let people go again so that we can try to show some type of reduction??…YEAHH let’s try that again!!! Let’s just call it strategic downsizing due to increased efficiencies!!!! We are sooo smart…just make sure to tell them we don’t have any more layoffs planned!! Also whoever is left are the realest most valuable assets!!

At some point, you have to point the finger at the top. The CEO is a nice guy and spins an optimistic story, but how many layoffs has he overseen while he’s been an executive at CHK?

Do they have any solutions other than cutting more and more employees? And it’s absurd when you’ll naturally lose plenty of people post-merger with SWN.
