Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

WAH layoffs v. Office aligned

I don't think it's openly acknowledged but I've noticed the people laid off since last Fall seem to be primarily ones who also were sent back to an office. Is there anything to that or just coincidence?
Anyone aware of the opposite where the ones allowed to maintain wah were laid off on the team while coworkers sent into office were not?

“ Correlation doesn’t equal causation”

You misused that well worn phrase.

Of course working from the office didn’t CAUSE them to get laid off.

I know ppl aligned to an office who were laid off and ppl who were WAH who were. Correlation doesn’t equal causation

More people than not were sent back to the office…

I was je’d earlier this year and was not aligned to an office. Of course, I wouldn’t have driven the 50+ miles regardless. So glad after 18+ years I’m free of the mess. Wishing those remaining the best of luck because there is definitely life outside of the Cigna drama.

I have also noticed this trend.

If you’re the only person from your team who is assigned to an office, good luck.
