It’s so hard to sell anything here. Customers hate us. We can’t install anything. We pulled our guarantees. We increase rates on services IN contract. All the good folks are leaving or were cut previously. Anyone who brought joy is gone. It’s miserable over here and PIP is on the horizon.

Hey seriously folks, can someone give this person a direct number to engineering or something?? I don’t work at Windstream but I really do think with the right contact in engineering, Windstream can provide you with a nice DIA deal. Nope, this is not someone from HR guys, this someone from another company that still thinks competition is good, but the customer should ultimately come first. Go get this person/business the circuit he needs…
We all need to quit! Find other jobs first of course but we need to get out. This ship is sinking and the sewage and garbage are up to my waist.
"Just quit and stop asking to get laid off"
I appreciate the input HR but you are much better at ending careers than I am so I'll wait for you if you don't mind
Just quit and stop asking to get laid off - the severance is cr-p. Apparently you like it here as your still here complaining about it
Funny you say it is hard to sell...I have been asking for a 10G ETH and a 100G DIA for months and cant get anyone to respond
There is no severance anymore. You log in once a week with a third party and they subtract you’re unemployment. I enjoyed my job and was laid off. I don’t understand why people wish to be laid off. Getting a job is almost impossible unless you have a connect. Millions of people are applying for jobs, possibly thousands with better resumes than you. You’re better off looking while still employed.
True severance package su-ks but a least a layoff buys unemployment support you don't get when you quit.
I wish all of you people that keep praying to be laid off would just quit. Then you could stop coming here and whining about your hope to be laid off. The severance package su-ks so why are you staying?
But aren’t salespeople free to sell service from any provider?? Or does it matter?? Aren’t all telecom providers using overseas support now?
I've been gone for close to a year now, and looking back had I not gotten laid off I probably would have never left.
Unfortunately I still have to deal with this company.
Its insane how unprofessionally your nocs are, I had to call in 4 times to get someone to update a ticket yesterday, and could barely understand the people on the other end of the phone calls, coupled with what sounded like a party going on in the background, its a wonder that anything of importance was completed.
