I hear Medicare is getting ready to layoff many people with the sale. They are just pushing people to get it implemented and then anyone who has not heard that they are part of the sale will be gone. Hearing that this is so the execs can get their bonus with dates. Rumor has it they do not care if it works since it is being sold

Unknown on May but Quality Assurance is going to be the one that takes the biggest hit in June. Won't see anything that we did the scale of end of last year and beginning of this, but there is stuff coming unfortunately for band 2 and above. This company has lost all sense of being and vision and Cordani and his sycophants are doing everything possible to milk the he-l out of everything before they dump and retire in the next year or two.

My department was informed Friday 4/19 that 30 jobs from our group will be transferred to Cigna’s new India HUB sometime in Q3/Q4. Management (our directors/senior director) was vague on specifics but all I know is it affects Bands 2-3 employees & they would like us to train the new overseas hires. Jokes on Cigna but I won’t be doing that. Resume updated, starting to network & apply for jobs now. I’m hoping to leave ASAP, not give much notice. Cigna is a horrible company, would never recommend anyone work for them.

Yes! I suggest proposing alternate time and day to meet when you get one of those “I think that’s a JE meeting invite”… then you’ll know for sure! !

Were there layoffs that occurred last week with this upcoming week as their last day or are these another round of new layoffs?
