Areas of Claims and Product (potentially other areas but this is just the areas I know for sure) have been tasked with doing volume and time studies and redundancy reviews for roles and departments. In addition the existing suppliers are being vetted and reviewed for potential expansion of use into operational and claims related roles. Also revised budget targets for future quarters have been presented enterprise wide. AI development has gone into high gear for many areas of the company as well. These are all definitely telltale signs of cuts and reductions to come and in likely high numbers.

Noticed that they are using people from India and Tiajuana for employees now, and getting rid of US employees. Why?? They don't have to pay benefits and taxes on people from another country. Saves Allstate a bunch of money.
Seeing a lot of people saying they were laid off today on LinkedIn…
Sounds about right. Our area of property claims has to knock about 30% off the budget for 2025. We are going to have to use vendors to do it or add about double the handling time which the latter is not going to fly.
After getting taxpayer money to keep employees now they all continue to outsource jobs to India
Looking strongly at claims. They’re still not allowing managers to give authority on BI claims. There’s plenty of meat to trim from the bone there.
Volume and time studies have been going on for 2 1/2 years. Where have you been?? It's called the Workflow Tool. Good luck with it!

Really??? Why don’t you ask one of the dozens that were laid off last week then!
Claims should just do a study on how many claim reps never return phone calls. I think they will quickly find out how much useless overhead is out there.

But yet new people are still coming into the CCO. But they’re taking work away from me. I won’t have enough work to keep me busy for the day and WFT is still a pos.
LDU and Moderate Casualty going offshore and to AI. Repped Moderate will also include Unrepped Complex / Severe. Only safe place in claims for this go round is Repped. AI will route claims based on skill set to CRA1 CRA2 and the new CRA3 for team handling of all claims. Only Lit adjusters will be Claim owners, the rest will be handled on a team level. It's churning hard now. Fasten your seat belts and polish up those resumes.
