Over the past month Oracle has a constant and steady decline. Soon it will be time to let more people go!

You expect loyalty? They can’t even be loyal to a state for HQ!
no FOCAL! No raises
YES. Confirmed. A-s lickers will get something, not the rest of US
On another thread, someone said there was no FOCAL! No raises (again)!
Oracle stock down $1.50 US today …
The trend continues.
Whatever your present role is today, it can change at a blink of the eye come June 1st. They can arbitrarily move you into entirely new roles, whether you’re qualified or not. Of course, they can also terminate you.
They stopped reporting individual SAAS just for the same reason else CX would be dead by now.
CX is worst compared to any division not just ORCL but across multiple places I have worked. Share price will go up if they just simply shut down CX.
How would I be sadly misinformed if I work there and have for decades and know more about layoffs than you would. I also have multiple friends who left Oracle and work at Amazon and its disgusting how Amazon treats their workers. No work life balance. Oracle isn't perfect but no where is. Oracle is better than most.
Well Amazon is indeed very bad regarding work/life balance and Oracle is better in this regard. Salary raises are better though in Amazon. On-boarding salary is about the same for Software. As for mass lay-offs - from what I saw in CX so far, it's worse in Oracle, at least in that department.
"You can see the direction."
You can also smell the direction.
I pity anyone who chooses to stay at Oracle despite the clear warnings that have been there for many years. A once dominant player in the database market is now nothing more than a “fly on the wall” for both cloud and AI. A non-leader in the tech sector, never to gain market share. Oracle’s best days are long gone.
That’s funny & so true
I stand corrected
Definitely cream of the cr-p!
“That way they have the cream of the cr-p”
Fixed that for you!
Cream of the crop? Promotion by favoritism and not merit.
I have seen top performers released!
- attached to the wrong product
- didn’t get along with their (bad) manager
- quick, unplanned reorg
- mismatched talent in wrong job
- too old
- too young
And the most common
- salary/expense cuts
You can see the direction.
Yes, it is as clear as day. Think of it as a roadmap. Here it is!
- >💩💩💩
Oracle has always, always laid off bottom 10% of non- performing personnel.
That way they have the cream of the crop.
You could be there for decades, but don’t know that we have had constant rounds of layoffs? I guess that You might be in consulting and working on-site at customers, so you have not seen the long parade of people streaming out of their boss’s office. I have also seen it for decades.
This is great news.
Looking forward to the increased shareholder value

stock down 2.25% today. Doesn’t sound like up to me.
You are sadly misinformed. The only difference is that Oracle manages to hide its layoffs better than Amazon.
Stocks will always go up and down. Oracle hasn't had any massive layoffs in years unlike the money hungry Amazon, Google, Microsoft, etc. I'm Oracle4Life!!!!
