"NO FREE FRIDAYs" policy. Inflation is over 10% since last raises. Work less to compensate the company for that direct pay reduction. When they do reinstate raises I can assure you this gap will not be closed. I expect they will be 4%. 3% would sound like just sound like the standard. Managers will be told to sell 4% as higher than usual to help compensate for the >10% inflation. Do be stupid and accept that. "NO FREE FRIDAYs !!!!"

Total fake posts here. Come and see the lifestyle of LCO. We get paid really well sometimes even more than Intel/AMD etc. average LCO pay is around 300K ..sometimes 500K for CT leaders. Isn’t that sufficient?
Seagate compensation is way non-competitive now. Unless you look around you are unaware. Lots of long term people just keep doing what they know and don't realize they are getting ripped off now.
Speaking of pay scale and raises, I finished my taxes last week and shook my head at the gap growing between my income and my wife's income. We have worked in our respective companies for 20+ years now. Over those years, we went from her making 20% less than me annually to making 23% more than me today. I have no problem with her making more than me, but it does underscore the paltry raises we have been getting compared to other companies. I'm close enough to retirement to not care, but I am steering young people away from this company.
BTW, the retention rate in Thailand is horrible right now. We can't hang on to anyone who is able to think on their own. STX is not competitive with pay so more power to them.
