@1wqk+1s5uM8as, in other words, nothing new that we didn't already know. just as I thought. The same old stagnant Crown. Good luck to you all.

What was said is they haven't completed the review but everything is on the table to include a sale of some or all of the fiber assets. A joint venture was also mentioned. To me it sounds like they havent found a suitor willing to pay fair value and their not going sell it for nothing

I doubt anyone in SP is dancing on the ceiling. There is nothing simple about merging two cultures. Anyone remember reducing Ops techs/managers because "we're over staffed vs our peers (LT)"? Result, MTTR went up. Then CC hired techs, bought equipment to maintain and build fiber. Now we are too costly/inefficient. Frustrating that we keep going in circles.

Of course exploration is best. But who the heck buy at current rates? Probably cut costs drastically on fiber. Makes books look good and shop.

Yes. Fiber and possibly small cells are on the chopping block. This will mean a big reduction in employees and, design and Installtion costs in such areas as construction, permitting, sales, and the management thereof. The clock is ticking on a major sale and/or RIF.

Well the legacy, pre scn and fiber, folks at southpointe are probably dancing on the ceiling right now. They never did anything to understand or incorporate Scn and fiber effectively. Now their nemisi will be gone.

Their dancing is gonna stop once they realize how much smaller the employee base will be and their gazillion layers of mgmt will have to go away.

Can't happen soon enough. We're failing and fiber sales goes to an island in the gulk of Mexico.

They stopped all hands years ago but someone the worst performing group in the company still has trips.

Anyone else confused about the operational review comments following the mention of layoffs on the tower side and how it’s saved so much for the company?

Selling fiber and SC bundled or separate. Decision has been made.

More importantly, changes we can make regardless of the ultimate decision with fiber and smallcell
