Any knowledge of Medicare Case Managers being let go before HCSC close? It seems Cigna is way over staffed.

Medicare Case Managers will not be laid off. The Medicare Clinical Operations team has been reduced down to the bare minimum. There are about 5 more positions that won't be backfilled if people leave, but no plans for layoff. I know this to be true, 💯.
During the last PHO meeting it was mentioned CM did not do so great on the audits. Knowing that some CM teams are over staffed, I find this statement to be false.

Thank you for the info. What does GAD stand for?
QA and GAD layoffs 2nd week of June. Mostly band 2-3 about 45.
BH what?
WILL ANYONE THINK OF THE CASE MANAGERS?!

My department is over staffed. I often wonder if we will be impacted.
Would argue that everyone’s always at risk of layoff as long as they are an at-will employee! I am at will
Everyone is at risk of layoffs for at least the end of the year. That said, some orgs are less at risk than others. But if it means padding the bottom line Cigna is happy to let people go.
I wish. Lay me off.
But no, I don’t think there will be lay offs. There are some CM programs that are over staffed and some that are under staffed. This is department dependent.
