Moving Gvl to Waco

Heard here in the West twice today, Melbourne wants to move all Gvl log/pub to Waco. They expect most to retire, so would be plenty of openings in Waco once work is moved. Eventually to sell the Gvl ops and get out of the "mess". That was the talk.

With the 645th being collocated at Greenville, as long as RJ is a thing, highly unlikely.

We are sending almost 100% of manufacturing work from Waco to Greenville. But from a tech pubs point of view, I could see wanting to combine groups to remove redundancies. But Greenville itself isn't going anywhere. What would we redheaded stepchildren in Waco do if they shut down big brother?

Waco has capacity when Greenville is full. Also, there’s no union at Waco.

Bahahaha no my friend. Just no. Greenville brings in at least a 6th of all L3 income worldwide. They are not going anywhere.

I haven’t heard this rumor yet, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they are trying to combine Waco and GVL.
