Full PTO Payout

Asking for our peers who were RIF'd or Rebadged...
Which states do have full PTO payout? I am not sure based on my state and I can't locate this in Pulse.

Ah, yes - but beware that you do not change to a state where income tax is compelled. You might find that state income taxes don't make up for the PTO payout.

So - get an address in one of those states (even a post office box) and have your mail forwarded from there. Change your address in Workday before your last day. Game the system and get your full payout.

Yes, PTO is paid out with a RIF if you're in one of the states that requires it.

Fun fact: Companies that offer "unlimited PTO" often do this because if they let someone go they don't have to pay out - since there's no set PTO days.
