Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

Be careful what you wish for

There aren't greener pastures, sorry to burst your bubble. I felt so liberated and empowered when I left my last job until the reality of the new job kicked in. Just like they are price gouging, companies are acting like they don't have money to give raises, to hire more people, like they are in trouble... but then you see them splurge in unecessary spending, you see them being very generous with their executives and hiring more. People that barely have any impact, don't even show up any day to an office, live a luxurious life thanks to their fat paychecks but they don't have enough for the average employee. All these people have impressive resumes, look good in paper, about all the changes and impact they did at so and so company, then they're in and are completely useless.

Bumping this from @mjo+1rLvvCfH.

An advise for smarts
If you are good and get a chance to get a year salary and be free , it’s benefit for you
Lucky you

If you consider what I would do
There are two options

One
You su-k’s and just act
Two
You don’t believe in yourself even you are the best

I don’t care who you are
Just ask yourself
