Wow are there some really horribly entitled employees that post here. It is shocking how difficult it is for USAA to get employees who worked from the office before the pandemic to come back to the job IN THE OFFICE they were hired for now that the pandemic is long gone. Unless you are on a production line/call center type work that is on the phone your job is collaborative in nature which is why it was in the office to begin with. I know of a couple USAA coworkers that literally moved out of San Antonio even after the pandemic and have the audacity to now complain they are getting pressured to come back and how hard it is on their lives. No wonder this company is struggling so much. This culture needs to be burned to the ground and rebuilt...get back to basics and get your stuff together. Such soft employees now...entitled toddlers.
Fraud detections/investogations are jow remote temporarily due to ‘backlog’…
RTO was poorly thought out and put into place. Not sure who head that sh-t show, but they need to re-evaluate their career path and ho mop some rain.
The thing is that you do not want to "give" them cause to let you go. With cause, you can and probably will get fired. Keep looking for alternative employment until you are ready to move on. I know it is hard to just sit, day after day, waiting for a drop of meaningful work. Hang in there!
Oh..its coming around for those who have failed to meet required attendance, failure to not stare at your monitor and not move, failure to type the wrong things, failure to say the wrong/right things...lots of protocols in place to bypass "layoffs" ...posting on this site within the walls on their network is one of them 🙃
Well, those people might be part of the next round of layoffs.
I work in Bank ops, and 3 of the people who got 60 day notices had JAR’s to remain WFH.
