Mike doesn't exactly have too many friends out there outside of wall street. He burned his employees and people on the outside.

Why would Chevron Lawyer say anything else?
Do you expect him to say, we are sorry, we ki-led people and damaged heir land and here is a compensation. He is a lawyer and Chevron known for its unethical lawyers. They do not guide Chevron to do the right things. They are only there to protect Chevron Criminal Activities. Follow the criminal Investigaton against their security staff who used emotional and mental torture in their interrogation techniques in Kazakhstan against their own employees... They hired them form anti-te---r task forces to te--orize their own employees. Chevron lawyer just protected them rather that cleaning their hard form these criminal activities. Do not expect much from Chevron legal, they are known to be the most unethical of any corporation on earth.

I am not sure what you got out of the film, but the lawyer representing Chevron called the documentary "an unapologetic work of propaganda", and lost the case in Ecuador.

The protestors are upset about Ecuador. Texaco abandoned the wells properly, and the locals opened up the wells to produce the oil in the most primitive way, basically scooping it out with buckets instead of flowing it through a pipeline. Go watch the documentary “Crude” and see how slimy Donziger is. He dressed up the people from the impacted village, gave them scripts, and even wrote the judge’s testimony. All the while, he was effectively selling shares of the anticipated settlement. When he refused to turn over his computer (which would reveal his investors), he was held in contempt, and placed under house arrest. The press took the side of Donziger because he is a fellow member of the tribe and is a soldier for the climate agenda.

Oh my poor mikey, he got insulted really really bad. Oil and gas is a bloody business. Sh-t happened in texaco time and Israel is going extreme with its zero strategy bloody attack on civilians while Chevron is supporting somehow.
This is a lesson for him to secure the place prior to moving freely his hands and pulling a hollywood act.
