Today in BTS all teams meeting, it’s clearly stated by our CFO that another round of layoffs will be happening soon. I am thinking they want to go in the route of AI heavy and reduce headcount.

If people here talking about not hearing about AI and it’s impact in CFO or CIO all dept meeting, they must be sleeping through that meeting or d-mb enough not the understand what’s going on. Average person can understand AI will impact jobs and if the people in this thread doesn't understand it, may be time will tell.
I’m in BTS, that call was with CIO and I didn’t hear him say anything about layoffs. Just my opinion, but if there are layoffs, time to take out the trash! Shady people need to go.
I have a friend in IT and she said, BTS stands for Business Technology Solutions (what centene calls the IT side).
I showed her this post and she’s not aware of what meeting this person is talking about. She said the meeting this last week was with the CIO and not the CFO.
They’re going to have to make hard decisions? Newsflash: They already decided to do it. It’s not something being debated. Those affected are already on a list and like last time, there’s a trickle here and there of layoffs leading up to the larger event. It was delayed until now (almost time) thanks to the leak last year. It was always going to be two larger waves.
EBOS (ENTERPRISE BUSINESS OPS) was told no layoffs at our townhall on Wednesday. Of course they all know about this message board and are not going to let another media leak happen. I fully expect more layoffs are coming.
Agreed. The Spark challenge is asking how to use AI to better serve the company. That's essentially asking us to give them ideas on how to replace our jobs with AI, IMO. I echo everyone else. What is BTS?
CFO answered in Q&A session that they may have to take some hard decisions in 2024 even though those decisions will make people suffer, those decisions will be good for business. Those are his exact words.
BTS? And what was stated - post is awfully vague. Did they say it was company wide including member facing or isolated to admin support or IT?
What is BTS? What was stated?
