If it is any consolation, most of those laid off were not chosen because of performance.

@jbq+1ryO2Avw,
Exactly right. It’s really just a bunch of losers coming on here pretending to want to be useful.
“I understand there could soon be layoffs in O&T.” Wow. Amazing.
It’s tough to have sympathy for those being let go when you see the caliber of staff coming on here.
Citi is like the Republican party today. It used to be respectable and good. Now is a mess without vision and under very bad leadership.
While its always up in the air as to the ethical behavior of CEO’s, for ours, Jane, it would not surprise me if she did elect to NOT pay out the severance beyond that of the WARN notice. She’s that caliber of that sort of person. I’ve never seen such a CEO that is as reviled as she by the employees.
Rumor has it they are not giving the 2 weeks per year severance, only what they are required by state law WARN notices. Dragging their feet on reorganizing, moral is low.
If you are on this site you know the layoffs are coming so you either ask a questions concerning it or provide information who may give a heads up to those affected. Keep reminding people they have a 50/50 chance of being axe doesn’t help. Not hating the individual who posted this but let’s share actual info. Example: 388 will see changes in x, y & z or technology in Irving will be impacted.
Why wouldn’t they go through all 4/4 rated individuals first?
It is based on performance, rank, violations and number of redundant roles
Any actual news, or just more vaguery to contribute?
Is is based on salary, location or something else?
It's crazy, but no surprise, we can see the votes don't matter anymore
