Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Is this company even going to try to dig itself out of a hole?

No chips deal. No other viable ideas. Superficial bullsh-t around AI, and more corporate empty air speak. In the meantime, competition is running for green pastures like a herd of bulls. What the he-l am I still doing here? Any chance for a change in leadership, that would be connected to the real world and come up with some actually workable plans?

CHIPS money is different from the DoD money. With that said, I predict it won’t be enough. How could it?

Stay tuned on the CHIPS money. We may have lost the DoD money but I believe we’re still in line for about $10B for the semiconductor manufacturing industrial policy $. Should know soon.

Cross highway 101 south in Santa Clara… there’s a big building with the huge sign “AMD”. There is where you want to be now…
