Global Reduction in Force Spring 2024

Strategy -- Reduce burden of headcount in 'expensive' countries...

Expensive Country= those who protect employees via local/regional protections &/or national laws that include required notice period/min pay, etc

...as expeditiously as possible and via creative tactics if necessary...

Creative Tactics= Deploying Shefali Shah & Akin Gump to shuffle the deck chairs in such a way to 'sidestep' laws and avoid paying fees/salary/penalties where possible, especially in EU countries

...to polish that Beautiful Balance Sheet to the point it sings to potential investors who will help buy out Apollo

...so the powers that be will be able to take over, ownership & board, and suddenly behave as if they are an amazing genius who started some amazing company with their own bare hands and their road bike...

...which was in fact a legacy of assets and IP of one of the longest running companie(s) in the United States (+one goofy Canadian company who liked to play with tech for fun but didn't like to balance the checkbook who just happened to leave a contagious legacy of failure).

It will be near impossible to support those countries. The "channel first" refrain is how they justify their ill conceived plan...
But we all know it will be near impossible.

How hard is to sell solutions in expensive countries if support is not there and not speaking local language and lack experteese

Blessings to all who will be impacted. Know this has nothing to do with you. Don't allow the stress to make you second guess your skills or abilities.
Yet certainly be angry with the chief general counsel who looked the other way on Internal Controls that led us down this road.
