Thread regarding Follett layoffs

When you find the exact position that got eliminated back in the job postings

I got laid off because my position was eliminated. Now it is suddenly back on the market a month later. I'm going to be sick.

if that were true, then I have grounds to sue.

they probably looped you into a layoff when in reality they just wanted to fire you.

The overwhelming desire to apply just to waste their time.

I did notice that at the same time they were laying CM3s off, they were trying to fill at least one CM3 position

Had the same thing happen to me . What they do is they change the job title just enough for it to not be illegal. What they’re really doing is getting rid of the people with the most time and trying to get someone who will do the job for less .

I am in the same situation but going back is a non issue. The SOBs can go straight to he-l for all the angst we have gone through. Hope we can all get together and sue their as--s off!

Sue their ases off!!! Follett has been sued enough and typically pays out when pushed. This sounds like a good case of illegal activity and who better than the Follett Vandals to be imposed with legal issues. Couldn’t happen to a better group of shtheads.
