It looks like Oracle is trimming the ranks of the onboarding and training people.
Those affected have until Friday to find a different internal position before officially being left go. Oracle has significant slowed hiring and are laying some people off. Onboarding and training got hit hard back when CX and marketing got decimated too.

On-boarding?
They want to reduce headcount. Perhaps they can find another role doing Off-boarding!
The cloud has removed all complexity. We don’t need no stinking training!
If the products are easy to use you don’t need to onboard or train people. That’s the theory here. Same goes with documentation. Sadly our products are not that easy to use
