70% of them are in leadership role meaning they decide who to hire and fire

It's giving incel
Regardless of pay, they should have fixed that long ago, it's 2024. Most of top leadership at Centene is mostly white, male or female.
That %80 of Female is still being biased and discriminatory against males, as if they are only hiring only %20 of males, then they would not be in align with DEI. %100 discrimination of Males as they are hiring based on gender bottom line and that is biased discriminatory practices bottom line.
If it's %80 Women, then wow that are NOT practicing DEI.
Complete opposite of DEI, where is the equity? so %80 Female %20 Male?? Makes not sense, and they brag about it. Equity, Equality at lease make it close 51-49 or somewhere in the middle. An all Women company should not be allowed to even exist especially if its backed by the Federal Gov't.
It’s 80% women because they can pay them less. I have literal proof of that.
"A wealthy white woman who went to Harvard or Columbia university is ten times more privileged than any middle class or lower class straight white male."
Is a wealthy white woman who went to harvard or columbia ten times more privileged than any wealthy white male who also went to harvard or columbia?
Or is a middle class or lower class straight white woman more privileged than a middle class or lower class straight male when regardless of either scenario women make less than men regardless of doing the same job?
When you compare apples to oranges, of course one is more privileged than the other. Why don't you compare apples to apples instead.
Not that this comment has anything to do with who allegedly has more power to decide what cause really, it's probably those 30% males in leadership roles. 🤣
You specifically state the “operations executive leadership team was primarily men…” but you’re still blaming the female leadership…?
Check your logic and your bias. This is why we need DEI.

I was impacted by the last 2023 layoff, and I can agree there was definitely a target on older white males and African American females...especially in leadership roles within operations.
I can't say with any degree of certainty, if any white women made the final say in most of the decision making process, since the operations executive leadership team was primarily men...but I can say I can't name a single white female in my former org leadership under 40 that was impacted by the layoff
I was part of the initial April 2023 layoff and the most senior of my team of 37, yet as the white male I was laid off. The next layoff the 2 remaining white males on the team were let go. The Dept. was run by women and if you think white males are not discriminated against look again!!
The point that the original poster was making is that the vast majority of leadership at Centene is women and they act like they’re victims of the patriarchy even though they hold all the power while white straight males make up around %15 of leadership and have been target for elimination by a bunch of DEI efforts over the past five years. A wealthy white woman who went to Harvard or Columbia university is ten times more privileged than any middle class or lower class straight white male. The narrative that Centene management preaches is the opposite of this.
Smh on national women’s day too.
So am I too understand that the men - however many that may be - behind these decisions as well are not to be held accountable for who gets laid off/terminated? Just stop that's a load of horse cr-p.
It’s healthcare a woman dominated industry, what did you expect?
