Shock, denial, frustration, depression, experiment, decision, integration. Where are you at with RTO? Because if you live in any of the first 4 descriptions it’s rough.

Good performance review and a promotion equated to a 2.7% merit increase and NOTHING on top for my promotion. That raise will cover my parking for the new RTO and nothing more. Absolute nonsense.
Time to move on.
Giving them the finger by doing the bare minimum and logging off on time without working any overtime. Never again. Oh you have a deadline to Andy? You want me to work this weekend? Nah you can forget it buddy. I’m not scrambling anymore.
I gave notice. Bye bye you shady company

Here is my moan:
Feeling frustrated and down. I turns out I was misled by their promises and there is nothing I can do about it. They said I could work remotely most of the time, but now they want me in the office three days a week, which feels like too much. Even though I've filled out surveys expressing my concerns, nothing seems to change. They don't want to listen. I know I can leave. BUT because they waited for their competitors to introduce RTO first, there are not that many choices.
This situation has made my mood much worse.
As an employee that was previously categorized as “remote” - angry acceptance.
My team and other work colleagues are scattered about the country. In office is nonsensical, however there is nothing I can do to change it.
I can only change my work ethic to provide myself with the best possible work life balance given the situation. By that I mean - adhering to strict working hours. No more logging in after hours or weekends. No more working through lunch. No more checking/answering email on vacation time.
Strictly working 8 hours with an uninterrupted, off campus, lunch. This, regardless of the fact that colleagues are in different time zones - I didn’t build this system, they did.
Everything screams FU for working after hours and weekend for the company during covid. I have worked from home, hired to work from home because of the work I do.
Yes I will not work another Sev 1 or 2 unless it comes in during MY business hours. No more Mr. Nice guy to a ratchet cutthroat employer.
i think it’s time explore a local UNION! what do we have to lose? nothing if the intention is to have us quit.
I’m at acceptance. I see it happening, I can’t stop it, I’m not going to fight it until I can find a different position with a different company, so I’m going with the flow.
What’s the phase where you no longer care about your work at all because they clearly don’t care about you?
Acceptance with they don’t care, I don’t care. No more extra hours put in. Logging off as soon as I worked my 8 hours. I will not volunteer for any extra assignments or take anyone else workload.
