Thread regarding USAA layoffs

Posts being removed - Someones getting kick backs

I made a post yesterday about a certain person at the top of ECIO getting kick backs from her friends in the suppliers she has made that we only use them and them alone.

I know for a fact one of the suppliers she choose has a 79% markup. Most in the industry has 35-45% but when reported this, they shrugged and said it is what it is. Now how is this saving money for the members when you are using it to line your pockets.

The only thing I can think is that she gets kick backs. Why else would she say we can use only these 3 and no other ones and then allow for such a high markup.

I wonder if they will get this one taken down too?

I agree with you 100%. The C2T efforts are not just kickbacks to the head of ECIO, but a deliberate plan to layoff FTEs as 3P learns the applications that they are tasked to migrate.

All of the C2T efforts moving apps from Classic to Talon are just free money for the Tata brothers. In turn, they kick back to Am@la. If USAA was a publicly traded company, there would be senior executives on their way to jail at this point. The corruption at USAA is disgusting to say the least.

Which parts of IT? Is it also data science?

The goal is to reduce calls to the call center and time on calls, but offshore is such a mess that it’ll just increase if MSRs are outsourced.

They outsourced IT help for employees, and it takes hours with them and they never fix the issue

They are currently outsourcing IT.

They have been trying to outsource MSR call centers. They will keep trying and will eventually get them outsourced since the EMG that has been stopping it from happening are slowly being removed or leaves.

Some member chat support has already been sent to mexico.

Is it outsourcing the call center? Like MSRs? Is it also IT?

A* has given the order that USAA is only to use IBM, TCS and HCL. TCS and HCL are both india based companies.

They do any work usaa wants them to do.

In fact some parts of usaa has been trying to move the contact centers to either the Philippines or India. Prior to A* it was shot down every few years it came up because the executives did not have the appetite to send a USAA military customer base to offshore. Now that A* has changed out a good chunk of executives to ones that dont give a sh-t, dont be surprised if they make it happen. They have already moved member chat to Guadalajara hoping no one would notice.

what good does offshore 3P do to USAA if most 3P can’t articulate enough for onshore people to comprehend 💀
