Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Ethics Office HR Legal in cahoots

Watched this now in HR and sitting in the second line. Employee claims go no where and never fully investigated. Mostly dropped or prematurely deemed unsubstantiated. If legal feels there could be ramifications negative to Truist they shut it down. Nothing going to the board like it should. I came from a big consulting firm and the board knew everything and got reporting on all serious complaints. Not here. These groups are not here for us but for Truist and the elite. They are protectors. HR and legal lift the rug and the Ethics office brushes what they know under it. Now with ethics moving it has only gotten worse.

Truist seems to be a not reliable bank
We had secured equipment loans and they called them thru their assets division
This bank went for BBT , Suntrust and now nowhere. Once an issue comes up
They start passing the buck , no pun intended, too much confusion with on line and the branch office , they do not understand what each does . Truist has way too many sub contractors.
Time to change banks PNC looking good

@1dpv+1rnNMKhp - CFPB does not enforce federal equal employment laws. That is the EEOC. CFPB protects consumers from shady banking practices such as deceptive marketing and billing matters.

Sherri Foster filed an EEOC charge and sued Truist for wrongful termination and employment discrimination. Truist settled and paid her $300,000

You’re absolutely right. HR and Legal are here to protect Truist under the guise that “they care about teammates”.

Truist has a history of discriminating and retaliating against employees. See this article - https://news.bloomberglaw.com/daily-labor-report/truist-bank-settles-hostile-work-environment-firing-claims#

Given annual performance reviews and rewards are so subjective, be on high alert for retaliation. Do not trust HR but rather file a complaint with EEOC if you have circumstantial evidence to suggest retaliation or if EEO laws were violated

See this article from EEOC on various discrimination types. My guess is truist is rife with violations and more teammates need to file complaints with the EEOC
