It's the worst company to work for. Nepotism runs wild. Hiring friends instead of someone who has actual experience. The lies never end. HR Rep had the nerve to tell everyone they had to take a day off because they were so upset after laying people off recently. Are you kidding me? You're upset? Laying people off while the Execs stuff their pockets on their way out the door and the remaining and new one figure out how to up their bonuses. All middle management do is try to figure out how to get promotions and actually have no answers and don't even know how to use the systems and their knowledge of technology is lacking (that's being kind). The Execs must wake up in the morning and say "hmmm what change can I make today that will wreak havoc so it looks like I'm fixing things" with no regard at all to the domino effect of the changes, zero plans in place, and don't even tell the departments affected a new process . The incompetence is unbelievable. Just trying to put lipstick on this pig so a Unity merger happens and Windstream appears as a viable business. Well they better have a huge lipstick budget because there isn't enough to pretty up Windstream. Where exactly is the multi-million they got from the government? You know to bring service to rural America? Who's pocket?
I see they have a 3.2 rating on Glassdoor. How do they even pull that off? 3.2 is beyond generous. More like negative 3.2 if not lower and clearly people lie on the yearly survey because they are scared or there is some number fixing going on.
